This template defines the table "ministry_changes". View table. Stores one ministry change event per instance. A ministry with multiple changes gets multiple instances of this template on its page.

change_id format: ministry_id + change_type + year e.g. mccy-renamed-2012, mica-abolished-2012

Valid change_type values: created / abolished / renamed / merged / split / portfolio_change

predecessor_ids and successor_ids use ministry_id slug format. Multiple values comma separated. e.g. mica,mci

name_before and name_after — fill both for renamed/merged/split. Leave name_before blank for created. Leave name_after blank for abolished.

portfolios_gained — describe any new responsibilities added to this ministry at this change event. portfolios_lost — describe any responsibilities removed from this ministry at this change event.

editorial_notes — primary record of context and background. Since no official reasons are published, be as detailed as possible about the political and administrative context.
