He is a committed board member in numerous organizations, such as the Singapore National Heritage Board, Yusof Ishak Institute of South-East Asian Studies, Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, and Singapore Sports School, where he leads the Financial Assistance Fund Committee. Also, Mark is currently the Chairman of the Asian Civilisations Museum and Peranakan Museum. He was the Chairman of the Textile and Fashion Federation Training Centre (TaF.tc) academic and examination board and a past board member of Business China. He also served as the immediate past president of the Singapore Textile and Fashion Federation (Taff); Mr. Lee was an advisor and immediate past president of the Singapore Textile and Fashion Federation (Taff).
