Ong Hua Han (born 1993) is a Singaporean Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP). He is currently serving in the 14th Parliament of Singapore.
He received his early education at Nanyang Junior College and Nan Hua High School.Ong earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) with a double major in Finance and Marketing from the National University of Singapore in 2016. He was once an editor and writer for the Ridge Magazine during his time at NUS. He was also a Committee Member of the NUS enablers. He got the Asia Pacific Breweries Foundation Scholarship in 2012.[1]
He has a successful career in the banking sector, currently the Vice President of Corporate Banking, Relationship & Transaction Management, Asia Pacific Coverage at Deutsche Bank. Previously, he acted an Assistant Vice-President at Deutsche Bank. Ong pays serious attention to disability inclusion. He supports inclusive hiring of individuals with disabilities with his position as the leader of dbEnable Work Placement Programme at the bank.
Ong is an Employment Taskforce Member promoting inclusive employment practices under Enabling Masterplan 2030 and a Committee Member of Our Accessible City @ CBD (Raffles Place), which aims to make the Central Business District infrastructure accessible to people with disabilities. He is also involved as panel speaker at the Inclusive Business Forum.
Ong enjoys diving and is a PADI-certified Advanced Open Water diver. He likes watching football over the weekend.
