Razwana Begum Bt Abdul Rahim (born in 1974) is a Nominated Member of Parliament in Singapore. She is also an Associate Professor at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and the Head of the Public Safety and Security Programme within the School of Humanities and Behavioural Sciences at SUSS.[1]

Razwana Begum Abdul Rahim earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Wolverhampton, UK 1997.[2] She later obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of London, a Master in Counselling from Monash University, Australia, and a PhD in business ethics and restorative justice, also from Monash University. She also has a graduate diploma in social work from the National University of Singapore, an international diploma in computer studies from the National Computing Centre, UK, and a certificate in administrative management from the Institute of Administrative Management, UK.

Prior to joining SUSS, Razwana was a Social Worker at Pertapis Children's Home and then spent 18 years with the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF). During her tenure with MSF, she interacted daily with children and families in contact with the Criminal Justice and Child Protection systems479.

Razwana has extensive research experience. Her interests include public safety, causes of criminogenic behaviour, effective criminal justice systems, restorative justice, children and family protection, individuals in contact with the justice system, and leadership and ethical behaviour within the social services and commercial sector. Her publications cover topics such as offender management, restorative justice, and business ethics.

Some of her recent research projects cover topics such as the value of IT models in determining students' satisfaction during the COVID-19 pandemic (2022) and the potential of restorative justice in promoting safe sports (2023).[3]

Razwana actively contributes to various organizations and committees. She is the Vice President II of the Singapore Muslim Women's Association (PPIS), a member of the Bowen Secondary School Advisory Committee, and a member of the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) Fostering Committee57. She is also an advisory member of the Singapore Youth Court, provides expert advice to Lutheran Community Care Services (LCCS), and is a member of the European Forum for Restorative Justice57. Additionally, she serves as an Adjunct Principal Scientist at The Centre for Advanced Technologies in Online Safety (CATOS).
