Chong attended Xingnan Primary School and Jurong Secondary School, and later graduated from AngloChinese School (Independent) in 2010 with an International Baccalaureate diploma. In 2011, she was awarded the Singapore Government Scholarship (Foreign Service). Chong went on to study abroad, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics from Peking University in 2015 and a Master of Arts in Global Affairs and Policy from Yonsei University in 2017.[4]
